Need to fly to China again on this coming weekend. As usual, i will need to activate my credit card usage to foreign country. I am very very reluctant to set the telephone banking pin number - as i will never ever remember the numbers.
So, as usual, i have to go through a list of verification questions.
Here is part of it :
"Mdm, what is your last transaction amount ?"
" I forgot about it, because, it was more than a month ago, as my last statement is "zero" transaction"
"OK, mdm, how do you do you payment for you last bill ?"
" I make it through the ATM machine"
" What is the total amount, mdm ?"
"RM260" - i was happy that luckily i have the payment slip in my wallet, else, how can i recall the total amount ?? it was like 1 to 2 months ago !!!
"OK, mdm, what is the payment mode that you made ?"
"Payment mode ?? what do you mean by payment mode ?"
"Mdm, what i mean is how did you made the payment ?"
What ????!!!! ok, let me repeat it again...........XXX####@@@**
"I make the payment through the ATM machine"
"Mdm, what is the payment mode ?"
Ggggrrrrr...............i am exploding now...........ok, calming down.......calm down
"I really don't understand your question"
Again, he said :
"Mdm, what i mean is how to you made payment through the machine ?"
OK, let me try one more time............calm down.........
"I make the payment through ATM machine, i insert 2XRM100 notes and 1XRM50 notes and 1XRM10 notes"
You guess what ? he ask me again the same stupid question !!!!
"Mdm, what is te payment mode ?"
I was using the speaker phone, so my hubby overheard it too. He was helping me to answer this STUPID QUIZ question..........
So, we simply hantam all the possible answer :
"ATM machine", "payment by notes RM100, RM50 and RM10".................and at last, i said "i paid by CASH" - Bingo !!!!
"Yes, thank you mdm. Thanks for the verification. "
Whatt !!!! i told you so many times i made payment by notes and you still don't understand !!!!
Am i having a pronunciation problem or you are having hearing issue !!!???
or you can't relate NOTES with CASH ??!
This is the worse verification experience that i had for the past 8 years !
Can you just ask me "mdm, do you pay it by cash or by cheque ?" - what a simple statement to just clarify your question...........
